Girl Scouts USA is concerned about the safety and quality of all Girl Scout Merchandise products. In keeping with our standards and testing practices, periodic inspections of products are regularly conducted to monitor production standards and safety guidelines. The manufacturer and the factory responsible for the production of items you may have purchased from us, the Heart Shaped Charm with Globe, and/or the Faux Suede Bag with this charm attached, have concluded that the production run contained some lead paint content, which is considered unacceptable to the standard. Consequently, we ask that you return this charm. You will be either credited $2.50, sent a refund of $2.50 or another charm of equal or greater value, for the return of the recalled item.

As always, customer satisfaction, safety and the quality of the product are our primary concerns. We do apologize for any inconvenience this recall may cause.
